Pros
Lucky is still a fairly small company so it is not too difficult to get your voice heard. It depends on your store location but for the most part store staff is small so there is more opportunity for hours than other similar retail stores.
Cons
Some new corporate management has brought a lot of changes to the company recently. so far most of those changes have had a negative impact. There seems to be little regard for the store employees when once i felt really appreciated at lucky brand. There is little opportunity to move up within the company. I have been a dedicated employee for over two years and was not issued a raise this year because the store i worked at did not meet its sales goal that corporate set for us. Even if i were to exceed my personal sales goals, i would still not earn a raise or appreciation from the company because my store did not reach its overall goal. Also, sales associates are rarely given shifts that last more than 4 hours. three hour shifts are common.
