Pros

-Excellent product discount (60%) -Great benefits and pay (if you were hired before January 2010) -Customer base is friendly -Good music

Cons

-As of January 2010, Gene and Barry the original founders of Lucky Brand Jeans are no longer a part of the company. This resulted in the product changing, to what the new team at corporate describes as a "J Crew" look, altering the whole aesthetic of Lucky. -Change at corporate brought on pay cuts company wide, as well as a change in benefits, and bonus programs. -District and Regional Managers show favoritism to certain stores/store managers, even though they perform well below what other stores do. -Many stores run with only one full-time manager, making the work/life balance very difficult. Be prepared to work 45-50 hours a week. -The management training program is non-existent, and the policy and procedure manual is outdated, most policies in it are now incorrect so it is useless. -No pay increases are awarded for the management team if the store does not make the year - despite how well your personal performance may be.
