Pros

Food is half off during your shift and you get 2 free games for up to 6 people as well as $1 game cards that give you unlimited access in the arcade for 1 hour. Working in a stressful environment makes you get really close to your coworkers. My team was like a family and would hang out even outside of work. Live DJ was bumpin' on Fridays and Saturdays= dancing You get good hostess experience at this job especially if you want to transition into the restaurant business.

Cons

Front desk doesn't make many tips and there was no higher pay to make up for that discrepancy. It was just annoying to have to give servers/bartenders $300+ tips and go home with $15 for myself... HUGE waitlists on peak days, I'm talking 40+ people and counting. On days like this it was just inhumanely possible to keep people happy so you end up getting yelled at ALL night. Shoe piles that go above your head. Customers can be the devil's spawn. You're front desk so if anyone has a problem with ANYTHING they come complain to you. I've never been treated so rudely at a work place in my life. Full bar so you get a lot of drunk people which equals fights & throw up
