Pros
Nothing but the paycheck and even that is questionable for what you have to deal with.
Cons
Everything. Literally everything. If you value your family home life stay far far away. There is no such thing as daytime shifts, it’s all afternoon/nights/weekends. If you request time off, that includes a weekend either it will get denied or we’ll just sit there and not be approved or denied so you have no idea if you can actually take the time off that you actually really need to takeoff. The micromanaging is ridiculous. Managers are not in control of anything. Everything is managed from the higher-ups who don’t even follow their own policies. Don’t even bother complaining to HR. They don’t do anything. They tell you that they don’t get involved in operational issues so then what is the purpose of an HR department if they don’t get involved in operational issues? The president says he cares about his people. Everything is about people. We have to take care of our people. We have to take care of our people, but apparently that message doesn’t get filtered down to everybody else because there is no taking care of the people. Higher-ups like to sit at home, work from home, manage from home while everybody else is in the trenches doing the work… they have zero clue what is actually going on.
