Pros
There is A LOT to learn about events, sales and communication between your colleagues and clients. Clients are mostly all incoming, so there is always something to do. Depending which venue you work for, there are a ton of opportunities to expand and make great commission. You can work really hard and see great results.
Cons
The venues, prices, and activities are constantly changing so you have to keep up to date on what you're selling. This can be annoying and frustrating. The turnover rate is pretty high as well because career advancement is limited.
