Pros

The colleagues are wonderful, intelligent and supportive people.

Cons

Don’t ever calculate your hourly rate if employed here as it’s horrible Leadership has minimal direction and is hired in so factor that into your career goals if you think you’ll grow here

Thank you for sharing this — and genuinely, thank you for the kind words about your colleagues. The quality and character of the people here is something we hear consistently, and we're proud of that. We do take the concerns around compensation and career development seriously. Growth opportunities and how leadership supports that growth are areas we are actively focused on, and your feedback is helpful. About 90% of our Leadership is comprised of Employees that were promoted into that role, so we are proud of the growth opportunities many of our Leaders have earned. Pros

don't recommend Lumanity to anyone

Cons

The onboarding and training process did not meet my expectations. I was told during the hiring process that I would receive structured training, but in practice this never materialized. Although there was a training plan available, it was not actively followed or prioritized by my manager. From my first week, I was assigned to multiple client projects with minimal guidance and was expected to learn independently while meeting demanding deadlines. The workload was often very heavy, with several concurrent projects and, at times, multiple deliverables due on the same day. For someone new to the company and medical communications, this created a steep learning curve and made the transition unnecessarily challenging. In my experience, work-life balance was poor. Tight deadlines and high workloads frequently resulted in long working days, and it was common to see colleagues working from early morning until late at night, particularly during busy periods. The pace of work often felt unsustainable.
