Pros

- People are very friendly

Cons

- Poor business outlook - Questionable leadership (poor communication, don’t stand by things they say, blame culture rather than lack of bonuses as ‘the issue’, often dismiss concerns, lack of direction, poor strategic decisions) - No bonuses in a year+ - New LT lack respect for more junior colleagues - Many many people are leaving, so even fewer resources - Everyone is overstaffed and over worked without being fairly compensated (no base pay raises in years)

Thank you for sharing this — we understand this reflects a genuinely difficult experience, and we appreciate you being direct. Compensation, leadership communication, and workload sustainability are areas we know matter deeply to our people. We hear that for you, the experience over the past year has not met reasonable expectations — and we take that seriously. Retaining talented people depends on getting these things right, and we recognize we have work to do. Molly Dunifon Head of Talent

Pros

don't recommend Lumanity to anyone

Cons

The onboarding and training process did not meet my expectations. I was told during the hiring process that I would receive structured training, but in practice this never materialized. Although there was a training plan available, it was not actively followed or prioritized by my manager. From my first week, I was assigned to multiple client projects with minimal guidance and was expected to learn independently while meeting demanding deadlines. The workload was often very heavy, with several concurrent projects and, at times, multiple deliverables due on the same day. For someone new to the company and medical communications, this created a steep learning curve and made the transition unnecessarily challenging. In my experience, work-life balance was poor. Tight deadlines and high workloads frequently resulted in long working days, and it was common to see colleagues working from early morning until late at night, particularly during busy periods. The pace of work often felt unsustainable.
