Pros

Most employees are dedicated and kind - and very much into collaboration Compensation is decent for senior level employees (less so for junior staff) though benefits are actively being stripped away in the name of private equity.

Cons

One senior level researcher makes it a point to have subordinates cry - this person has systematically made work difficult for more junior employees. Private equity means there is not much room for growth. Hiring and firing is mercurial within the company on the whole.

Pros

don't recommend Lumanity to anyone

Cons

The onboarding and training process did not meet my expectations. I was told during the hiring process that I would receive structured training, but in practice this never materialized. Although there was a training plan available, it was not actively followed or prioritized by my manager. From my first week, I was assigned to multiple client projects with minimal guidance and was expected to learn independently while meeting demanding deadlines. The workload was often very heavy, with several concurrent projects and, at times, multiple deliverables due on the same day. For someone new to the company and medical communications, this created a steep learning curve and made the transition unnecessarily challenging. In my experience, work-life balance was poor. Tight deadlines and high workloads frequently resulted in long working days, and it was common to see colleagues working from early morning until late at night, particularly during busy periods. The pace of work often felt unsustainable.
