Pros

L&D team were excellent for early graduate development Office is very nice

Cons

Pay is below market average Hours are significantly above market average (most market researchers are on 5+ projects at a time - resulting in the quality of work and satisfaction with the work being delivered being low) High team turnover, both qualitative market research teams have lost approx. 50% of the people who were in them at the end of 2023. Senior management did not demonstrate any willingness to address the fundamental issues that were causing people to leave (workload and pay) Leadership are out of touch with problems faced day-to-day by employees and there was little/no evidence that when feedback was collected that action would be taken. This resulted in most team members remaining silent. Internal processes (i.e., logging of hours, approval of time off, etc.) were burdensome and inefficient - adding to workload issues

Pros

don't recommend Lumanity to anyone

Cons

The onboarding and training process did not meet my expectations. I was told during the hiring process that I would receive structured training, but in practice this never materialized. Although there was a training plan available, it was not actively followed or prioritized by my manager. From my first week, I was assigned to multiple client projects with minimal guidance and was expected to learn independently while meeting demanding deadlines. The workload was often very heavy, with several concurrent projects and, at times, multiple deliverables due on the same day. For someone new to the company and medical communications, this created a steep learning curve and made the transition unnecessarily challenging. In my experience, work-life balance was poor. Tight deadlines and high workloads frequently resulted in long working days, and it was common to see colleagues working from early morning until late at night, particularly during busy periods. The pace of work often felt unsustainable.
