I wish I had better defenses to bad psychological activities. Watch out for widespread narcissism. Gaslighting and the supply / flying monkeys. Especially from the Broomfield guys. Well, I only saw it from that office. Mental toughness training is essential, and if you're working for a gaslighter, get out of there. Don't put yourself through it. If you're stuck, a grey rock strategy might be best. Social psychology understanding is a must. I liken my experiences to the Robbers Cave Experiment. Just human nature at work, and unskilled or inattentive management failing to solve bad dynamics, or worse, encouraging these things. Get rid of people if they're not needed, or if needed, help build an environment conducive to success. Help build your people if they're truly needed or cut them loose. Training was not offered. Conflict resolution? Nothing.
