      Pros

      Easy to stay employed. Remote work.

      Cons

      Stock is going in the tank, company headed toward bankrupcy. The systems are nightmare and its impossible to take care of customers Absolutely terrible reputation in the industry, customers often say "you cant put lipstick on a pig" referencing the companies rebrand from CentruyLink to Lumen. The work is not fulfilling at all but atleast everyone you work with is as miserable as you.

      Remote work, good health insurance

      Cons

      Lots of RIFs, poor technical leadership in the highest levels, lots of wasted money and resources on third party vendors and contractors to just abandon those projects or vendors in short order. Poorly thought out data management decisions. Company is trying their hardest to look like a modern tech company with modern values, but most of it is virtue signaling.
