Cons
Working at Luminar has been a challenging experience due to the negative culture being brought by the new management overseeing accounting, internal audit and IT. The management cultivates an environment of fear, often resorting to disreapectful and abusive language. Job security feels contingent on how well you can suck up to management, rather than on your own performance. The new management disscourages communication, making everything beaucratic and centralized around one person. The leadership team is severely underqualified, lacking the appropriate certifications and education. As a result, the attrition rate within the team over the last 6 months has been extremely high and majority of the individuals have chosen to leave rather than endure this hostile atmosphere. I like working at Luminar but had to quit because of the politics of the new management. Micromanagement and fear is rampant, which silences hard working employees and initiative among staff.
