Employees:
Most are just there for the below industry standard pay.
Leadership:
I have to be careful here—"below industry standard" is a dog whistle. Their People Ops is more focused on responding to reviews with straight lies and gaslighting (as if we didn’t work there and experience what we did) rather than actually addressing what ex-employees are telling them.
To debase your company, yourself, and your role that way baffles me. To each their own, right? You’re definitely below industry standard in pay, so just own it and move on.
Pay:
The other reviews are accurate. I was paid $12K less than most in this demographic, even after negotiating for more.
Company Work Environment:
It was a very laid-back office, with not many people present, even on hybrid days. The environment was pretty inclusive. People are generally nice, although some team leads feel the need to involve themselves in things that have nothing to do with them. There’s that old adage, "Here to show up and show out," but not in a good way. They double down when called out.
Promotions:
This is where it gets bad. They promote unqualified people over qualified ones because they accept lower pay. I saw it happen at least three times before I left earlier this year.
Unlimited PTO:
It’s great, until it’s not. They have around six people who abuse this policy without any consequences. How can you abuse unlimited PTO? By leaving all your work for your teammates.
Benefits:
It’s just insurance—no great compensation packages, no equity, nothing.
Market Positioning:
They are selling bad products to broke retail pharmacy owners. However, they’ve managed to create some decent strategic partnerships to help improve their current products.
Sales Reps:
They were constantly lying to prospects about our product capabilities and integrations.
Overall:
It’s not the best place if you’re established in your career, but it’s a decent starting point for a first job out of college. It’s a good place if you’re not an over-achiever and just want a paycheck. It’s a great place to work if there’s nothing else out there.
