Lumos Networks is an awesome place to work. Our people make the difference! Because management cares about the employees, we are able to focus on the customer and providing the best service possible.

Cons

We are not everywhere and can't serve all customers (yet).

The insurance is outrageous. The pay is not competitive or transparent, there appears to be no real pay scale, or top pay for technicians. The annual merit review process is a waste of everyone’s time because merit based raises are based on pre-determined budgets and “no one can exceed expectations”.
