Pros
This company knows how to get things done efficiently and quickly. Cohesive communication and prompt resolution are outstanding. Work/life balance is encouraged. Benefits are generous- especially for a company of its size. Remote-work is surprisingly not a damper for comradery. Even if you are unsure of who to contact within your department about a matter, I have always been met with an eagerness to help or direct me to the correct individual. Intentional quarterly meetings are hosted in all local employee markets by the CEO and upper management. Q&A is very transparent, and they even treat you to a nice luncheon. Having worked for my share of government, public, and private sector companies, I have never felt more at home than at Lumos.
Cons
Alot of positions are remote, so you may not enjoy rarely seeing your coworkers, but there are opportunities for engagement depending on your job function.
