Pros

Young company, young people. Can be fun to work for. Potential for growth. Employees get restaurant discount downstairs. Employees get lots of time off, snow days and xmas week. Lots of food, everywhere, all the time. Free coffee and soda.

Cons

Employees have minimal experience outside their present job and some are appallingly immature. Some have too much power for their skill level. That said, there are those few who do outstanding work. You'll know who they are - they're the ones who aren't whispering in the hallways, rolling their eyes behind others' backs or otherwise backstabbing or stiffling another's work. They're mature, respectful, hardworking, encouraging and honest. They're also the minority, and they seem to keep their heads in the sand, not unaware of the behaviors around them. Food is gross, always buffet spreads outside conference rooms, so if your tiny cube is outside conference room, you suffer noise and smell. No discounts for contractors. No free food, coffee or soda for conteactors either, unless employees are done, then they may throw scraps on your desk hours later. It's rather unthinking and rude.

Pros

LundBeck always puts patients first. The culture is one that truly honors each employee for their contributions. I have been with LundBeck for 11 years and have always had opportunity for growth and promotion. It’s a great place to work and everyday I feel proud to represent a product that is changing patients lives for the better.

Cons

The industry has changed a great deal in psychiatry and we’ve seen many providers move to virtual or working from home. This has made the access in psychiatry difficult. This however is not a con for working at LundBeck.
