Pros

Good place to learn things

Cons

When you join for the first few months, you will feel like it seems like a fun environment but very quickly you will realise that actually behind the scenes, there is a trio of people thats “managing” the environment. They decide where to go for lunches and you have absolutely no say, and lunches with them will always revolve around the same old few topics and majority of them will be them talking. If you are a newcomer, they might ask u a few questions out of courtesy but very quickly it will be drag back to theirs. They dont really make any effort to strike a real conversation with you so lunches will usually be a very one sided affair of you just listening. Back then they did received complaints before due to their clique-like behaviour so they try to be “inclusive” but i think it has not improved much and any gestures they make are just surface level Of course you can choose to dine alone, but to be honest if you are from a different department and work wise there is no chance to collaborate, then the only time left to really bond with other members of the company is during lunch but if this is happening, then i dont see how we can truly connect with each other at a deeper level That being said, this does not apply for everyone and other than the trio, the other employees are generally very nice people

Pros

LundBeck always puts patients first. The culture is one that truly honors each employee for their contributions. I have been with LundBeck for 11 years and have always had opportunity for growth and promotion. It’s a great place to work and everyday I feel proud to represent a product that is changing patients lives for the better.

Cons

The industry has changed a great deal in psychiatry and we’ve seen many providers move to virtual or working from home. This has made the access in psychiatry difficult. This however is not a con for working at LundBeck.
