Pros

Flexible hours & varied tasks: Interns report they receive adaptable schedules and a mix of responsibilities, which helps develop a broad skill set. Development-focused culture: The company emphasizes personal growth, making interns feel integrated into projects and company life.

Cons

No Clear Path to Full-Time Employment Based on my own experience interning at Lundbeck for two years, one of the biggest drawbacks was the lack of opportunity to transition into a full-time role. Despite consistently contributing to the team and gaining valuable skills, there was never a formal offer, discussion, or even indication that full-time employment was possible. From what I’ve observed and heard, leadership does not prioritize expanding headcount, and there seems to be a broader organizational mindset that doesn’t support hiring interns into permanent positions, even after long-term commitment and proven performance.

Pros

LundBeck always puts patients first. The culture is one that truly honors each employee for their contributions. I have been with LundBeck for 11 years and have always had opportunity for growth and promotion. It’s a great place to work and everyday I feel proud to represent a product that is changing patients lives for the better.

Cons

The industry has changed a great deal in psychiatry and we’ve seen many providers move to virtual or working from home. This has made the access in psychiatry difficult. This however is not a con for working at LundBeck.
