Pros

50% discount on most products

Cons

Liars are rewarded in this company. Staff are allowed to threaten other employees with violence if the general majority of the team is friends with them. People are allowed to lie about you for their own benefit and get away with it, and everyone will do little to nothing if you have a genuine concern about it because there is a serious favouritism problem. There is no coincidence that some things are okay for other people, but unacceptable for the rest. If people don’t like you, they will accuse you of horrible things with no basis and management will just believe them. I thought this job was going to be my career, and now I wish I could remove working here from my memory because of how traumatic it was. I had hope that it was just my shop out of love for this brand, but reading the other reviews, clearly this is a universal problem. The people who work here will destroy your mental health. It’s not worth getting a good deal on a bath bomb.

Pros

Excellent inclusive company culture, employee discount, learning about natural ingredients for skincare, genuinely great and engaged team members, flexible work schedule for part time or casual positions.

Cons

High amount of work, unreasonable "evidence driven" feedback and coaching models, and unrealistic performance metrics for comically low pay, especially for floor coordinators. No additional pay given for specialty roles, which is many enhanced responsibilities over a specific area of the business, and little opportunity for career growth beyond the sales floor unless you are hired from an external management position. Floor Coordinator seems to be the highest rung most people can hit before being driven elsewhere.
