If you are a great specialist, you will quickly get a promotion. But later you will find out that people who were initially hired for similar positions have salary 20% hire then you. It is especially unpleasant when an employee who is a absolute ZERO, promoted base on his loyalty (worked for Luxoft for 5 years) and not knowledge and experience. If you would ask - why? You would probably get a response that they feel responsibility for those whom they've hired, but the problem is that you will be the one who will be doing work for those guys. A lot of project with people who cant do their job properly. And if you are their team lead then you can forget about your work life balance...
