Complaint Regarding Payroll and Account Issues I am writing to express my deep concern and frustration regarding a series of serious issues I have been experiencing with your company. I have been a dedicated employee at Lyft for the past five years and five months, and I never imagined having to face such problems. Approximately three weeks ago, my company account, which I had been using without any issues, completely disappeared. Alongside this, I have yet to receive my rightful payment for the period from July 17th to July 23rd. This delay in receiving my rightful wages has persisted until today. This situation has caused me significant financial strain and distress. Furthermore, today, I encountered yet another problem: my account has once again been rendered inactive. Despite my repeated attempts to communicate with the company, I have received no effective solutions to these issues. I find it disheartening that despite my commitment to Lyft and the years of service I have contributed, I am met with such a lack of assistance and resolution. I implore you to take immediate action to rectify these pressing matters. It is my hope that you can restore my account access promptly and ensure that I receive my outstanding wages without any further delay. I believe that your swift attention to these matters will not only alleviate my distress but also uphold the reputation of Lyft as a responsible and employee-centric organization. I kindly request that you provide a comprehensive solution to these issues as soon as possible.

Pros

Discovering parts of Las Vegas I wouldn't normally visit. Meeting nice people from all over the Valley and the world.

Cons

With the price of gas right now, my pay for using a mid-sized vehicle averaged out to $8 per hour (before taxes), even after 3 "bonuses." This is less than the Nevada minimum wage of $12. Regardless of what the app tells you, Lyft takes about 2/3 of the earnings for each ride, charging both for the rental and extra fees they claim have to do with the cost of car maintenance. Not sure why maintenance and everyday wear wouldn't be handled by Hertz as a normal part of their fleet ownership, as it would with any other rental. Indeed, if you're doing the Express Driver program, you have to take the car for service after getting a voucher from Hertz. On a different note, the number of riders with no picture or fake names is really high in Las Vegas compared to other places where I've driven. This issue has become a safety concern.
