Pros
Vision, dental & health insurance. Optional pet insurance. 401K match, benefits, flexible hours. Employee events. Most of the upper management treats you like you are really part of a family, and they care about the "little guy" - they want to get to know you on a personal level, help you improve, and provide you with opportunities. Flexible hours in the summer are great, it would be nice if that was the norm year-round. Most people are easy to talk to, want to help, and will help you succeed. There is plenty of community involvement. MJ's position as part of Quanta Services has many perks too - added benefits through Quanta. Decent vacation time and PTO. As you grow with the company, so does your vacation time, which I feel is typical.
Cons
If you get a good manager, things will be smooth sailing. There will be opportunities to advance, pay increases, and an understanding that life happens. If you get a bad manager, you will be consistently belittled, put down, and ridiculed. Many departments have person after person leave and the management is never questioned. If you take a look at the "Integrity-Inspired-Invested" slogan, there are too many people in positions of power (mid-level) who do not possess those values. There is an overall lack of communication. There is somewhat of a lack of willingness to change, or update, old practices that may be inefficient. Pay seems to be low in many positions. Many positions have no overtime opportunities. There do seem to be quite a few "cliques" and office drama which most people don't care for, but you probably get that anywhere.
