Pros
- Generally the lower level employees are passionate about the work they do and are a pleasure to work with. - Work/Life balance was great, but this is dependent on who/what department you work for.
Cons
- Career advancement is not an option. You are pigeon-holed upon hire, and your position and salary will stay the same until you decide to leave the company. Not to mention, it's practically written into policy that employees are not allowed to receive raises. -Nepotism is RAMPANT among upper management, very unqualified individuals in higher level positions. - "Perform or be replaced" as a company core value is probably the worst strategy to advertise to prospective candidates/new employees. Intimidation does not motivate workers. -Under-achieving employees are punished with PIPs and terminations, but over-achieving employees are not rewarded in any way.
