Pros
I was extremely impressed with the orientation presentation as a whole. The mission and vision of the company was presented very professionally, but at the same time all topics of discussion were clear, straightforward, and concise. The Executive V.P.'s comments were warm, inviting, and very encouraging, especially when he stated to the effect that, "We were not just hired for a job, but we were also hired to build a career." Additionally, he spoke to a formula/model for success or "How to Engage." In all of my 40+ years of work experience, I have never heard the leadership of a company emphasize its care and concern about its employees' career development in this way. Then after learning more about all of the different career and alignment resources that would be available to me during my ManTech adventure, I was very pleased and very, very impressed! I immediately felt blessed. I felt like I was in the right place, for the right reasons, with the right company that I can build my career and future with! I found the benefit package, learning/educational resources all very attractive. I am so proud to be a new employee at this company. Although I am very small fish and I am just getting started, I eagerly look forward to all opportunities to learn and grow professionally within the company as well as any opportunities I might humbly have to help the company grow.
