Pros

Remote work makes your personal life a little easier. (Hundreds of places you could obtain this.)

Cons

-Greed driven Corporate takeover. -They changed my contract a week before I started ( I had already quit my job) and offered me a completely different (lesser) position. - Hires are not being recorded correctly, leading to constant babysitting to make sure you're appropriately compensated. - There is a serious unbalance between the workforce and the Corporate management. Constantly expecting higher metrics from the work-force...however, they take 0 responsibility for results from their decision. (Also can't keep track of your hires....aka....what makes you money.) - If you're looking for acknowledgement or validation for your hard work. You won't find it here. Half our team was out sick and we covered all of our incoming leads and applicants for the week, no appreciation......BUT, we were berated for something completely different. Being berated is common for the entire team, 3-5 times a week. - Expect to be asked to take on more responsibilities and jobs, but don't expect to be paid for them. - Incentives are a thing of the past? No extra bonuses or metric competitions to be paid. - Staffing is meant to be commission structured in one shape or another, to keep the drive and competition, as well as feel rewarding for the level of work that you put in......This is being restructured and it is moving in a direction that is not in the employees favor. -They have failed time and time again to provide any form of tools or support needed to succeed in the constantly increasing metrics they pin on your team. Matter of fact, they have failed to meet ANY of the promises they've made, in regards to a new office building, pay increases, ability to move, new systems meant to create efficiency, the list goes on. - Constant lies, empty promises, they will bait and switch you with opportunities for advancement and growth, promising you that "you won't be in this position forever".....but even when you're the top performer, you'll be t here forever. -Applying for internal jobs? Try waiting for several months without hearing anything, only to be told your HR "threw out your application" because they didn't realize you worked for MAS.... - Constant needs to "tighten the profit margin" which usually almost results in falling on the backs of the employees compensation. - Most of our management, VPs (apart from the Travel VP Rebecca Sanders and Kristin McKenna , who's terrific) all rule with a culture of bullying and berating, demeaning behavior. While believing they are invulnerable to making their own mistakes. -They continue to ride the Recruitment team as if they are the source of every failure to grow. While being expected to increase hire volume and performance, while: 1. Having no Jobs available for our hires. 2. Driving low pay rates and no incentives. .......Hot Tip: Recruitment isn't the problem. Lastly, keep in mind....when they came in, they had stated the culture was going to be "an upside down triangle, where everyone will be working for the recruitment team"....this couldn't be more false.
