Pros

A terrible place to work. Hourly- you will make less money than somewhere else doing comparable work. If you are a press operator- you can make possibly $10.00 more an hour working at a number of other shops in the area. That’s $400.00 a week, $1600.00 a month. Your experience and expertise will not be appreciated here. Salary - you will make less money coming in the door than working at a good shop. Again, jump onboard the crazy train.

Cons

The medical benefits are pathetic. The holidays are less than many good work places. This is an extremely unsafe shop. 3 days automatic suspension the first time you’re hurt, termination the 2nd time. The attendance policy is one of the most strict in the region. They are much more interested in giving points than making product. There’s no Safety/ EHS manager, no Maintenance manager, no Quality manager, no training department, no Production manager, and they’ve blown through 5 “General managers” in the last 20 months. Extremely understaffed on most of the production lines. Think about that if you’re applying here. HR is a clown show and you’re in the circus. The production schedule changes up to 3 times a day, and I mean completely changes. The training is basically non existent, it’s find someone to show you how to do a complicated task. Don’t get hurt, don’t get sick, and if you do get hurt or sick, don’t say anything.
