Pros
In my opinion although many do not agree, the salary and benefits, the prestige of the institution, the pride in trying to help this very unfortunate population...
Cons
Loads of documentation...excessive, unnecessary, huge waste of time...system issues...wait times from pharmacy, respiratory, IV team, transportation, admissions, etc etc...too many systems waiting on each other all the time and ultimately the patient gets upset/affected (unsurprisingly)...trying to make any change even small and you will encounter huge amounts of red tape...you will need to get the approval of 15 different divisions...
