Pros

- Friendly atmosphere - Good management in most areas, though I did have a lackluster manager once but she wasn’t around too long. Still a very friendly and considerate person. - If a mistake is made the focus is on retraining not a punishment. - great professional environment - stable job with great benefits - more focus on employee retention than I have seen. The CEO does seem to truly care about the company and all employees from the top to the bottom of the company. This is a non Religious perspective. - As of 2022 - 2023 there has been a push back towards a family atmosphere.

Cons

There has been a bit of nepotism but nothing truly egregious if you show character and skill you will be noticed I assume this is an issue for most considering a career at a company. The company isn’t known for paying top dollar for employees, but all the people at the company have a wealth of knowledge and are always willing to share and teach which is far more Valuable, there have been good improvements in this area in the last year or so. There really isn’t a down side other than the small town of the headquarters if your not into small town life this company probably isn’t for you. This is a small company so anonymous reviews aren’t exactly anonymous.

Pros

METER Group has always had great benefits and employee support. Work-life balance is the best I've ever experienced. People are friendly and typically a joy to work with. Leadership tries really hard to make the right moves, and in general, does. They own up to it and make corrections when things don't go as planned.

Cons

Recently started being profitable again after some struggles, resources and budgets are still tight, but starting to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Pay is just OK, they tell us we pay to the market, but then define the market how they want.
