Pros
There are truly some INCREDIBLE and AMAZING people that work at Mint, and that’s honestly what makes this review so sad. Once I got to know people I saw just how much talented was being wasted by management. People with amazing ideas from amazing backgrounds. Mint truly is diverse and sadly the diversity is often to overlooked.
Cons
Oh man, the cons of working here. Where do I start? You're only treated as someone of value at Mint unless you start to go against the grain and stand up for your office and stand up for your patients as well. I've had days where I would see 5 OPs open to schedule with only 4 rooms to see patients in. When the patients come in upset and angry, you take the full brunt of it. Does corporate care? Of course not, it's all about the Benjamin's and trying to fit as many patients in one as they can is the name of the game, because spacing people out would only make sense. If you're not in the "Clique" you're probably not going to last very long. There is so much drama and negativity at Mint it's very sad as they really do have the people to do so much more. People are fake and just when you think you can trust someone,a knife gets put in your back. The days are long a brutal for office managers and they are the ones doing their best day in and day out. It honestly was heartbreaking to see them cry in their office at the end of hard day, with no one but myself to tell them great job and you're so valuable. The culture does NOT live up to what it is supposed to be and it all starts at the top. I really hope it has gotten better since I was fired for doing the right thing, but alas I see the reviews and sadly see it hasn't. Should this review deter you from working here? That's for you to decide. I'm personally thankful to the people I met at Mint that truly did love me and care about me along the way, but I believe your talents are to valuable to be wasted a place that doesn't put the people that matter first, and that's the employees. Mint could be so much more, and it's heartbreaking.
