Mint is the absolute worst company I've ever worked for. They purposely change the verbiage on the offer to allow them to change your hours to "as needed." Doesn't seem like a big deal at first until you are getting your schedule the night before sometimes at 6-7pm. If you lose the day it's hard to find alternative work because it's so last minute. I'll be driving to work and then they push my day back a few hours and I'm wasting time sitting in my car or I'll get my day cut and only work 4 hours. On the opposite spectrum if they schedule you half day and all the sudden they get busy you are required to stay until they need you or the upper management writes you up. How is this sustainable?! My paychecks are all over the place. They lie about traveling to other offices because most of the time they wait until the very last second and all the offices have coverage at that point. They overwork you when they actually give you hours! I tried to stick it out because I didn't want to work less than a year. The part that made me quit was the management. HR allows it and let's management do what they want. HR won't help you if you have issues. It was such a toxic place because of the management but even after multiple times of reporting gossip/retaliation I got ignored and told that I just have to move on. When I tried to continue to work the management started looking for ways to write me up and get me fired. I didn't have any fight left in me and after being a hygienist for almost 10 years this company made me hate what I do. The owner of the company and his wife say nice words of love and generosity, plays worship music in the lobby, prays at our team meetings, and even runs a church in Dallas while running a business that is fueled by cutting corners and greed. They dispose of employees like trash and they don't care cause they always feel like they can keep hiring more workers with their scam advertising. You won't make the amount of money they promise and their bonus system only rewards you for breaking your back if they even allow you to work. Please hygienists, there are better places to work and don't allow this company to SCAM you like they did me and countless other people!
