Pros

Very lax work environment, no strict rules on taking time off. No micro managing.

Cons

Management has very poor communication with each other and the rest of the organization. There is absolutely no structure for projects, you are pretty much handed a contract with hours and a project contact and left to figure it out on your own. They constantly sell products no one is familiar with and expect you to learn it on the fly, hours on contracts are very small and the client usually is not clear on expectations so it becomes a problem for the technical resource to solve. Free work is more than likely given out to projects, since the scopes are small and there are no clear goals the projects are usually over billed. Management does not make the effort to stop giving away free work which is really frustrating because more than likely everyone but management is underpaid. However because the culture is sink or swim you're exposed to a lot of new information. So it serves as a boot camp to learn salesforce, if you are new to the salesforce world and are looking to get your foot in the door you can apply here they will low ball you on your salary, they usually hire inexperienced people or people in tough situations just desperate for a job so they can offer you a really low salary. There is no bonus program, so if you do the sales team's job and up sale you wont see a dime but you are expected to look for up sale opportunities. There is absolutely no growth opportunities in the company, they will gas light you and ask for team feedback but all good ideas are just back logged, never really implemented. Don't expect change or promotions, management has been there for years and they are not willing to lose their comfortable seats for progressive change.

Pros

Terrific commitment to employees, culture, and community. Best place I've ever worked, hands down.

Cons

This is a required field, but nothing springs to mind.

Pros

Lunch 3 days a week is a nice offer. As is the gated parking available to employees.

Cons

Within 9 months, 11 employees left (either laid off or left). There were a total of 16 employees at MK Partners. All 11 employees had expressed dissatisfaction during their time working there. The environment is unfriendly and unstable. Workflow is disorganized and training is completely obsolete. Its a sink or swim. They offer snacks, which are monitored by management. The pay is ok but if you want a raise, don't expect much. Lunch breaks are strictly monitored as are breaks. Expect to not go over the minute. Also, management is constantly eavesdropping on your conversations.

It sounds like you worked here when our former COO was in charge. He definitely had a different way of running things. Fortunately, he left in May 2015. Since then, we've undergone a major overhaul and thrown out all of his policies and procedures. The result is a healthier workplace and better morale. As a former member of the team, you're always welcome to stop by and say hi and see how things have improved. If you feel strongly about how our former COO ran things, I encourage you to review his current company.
