Pros

- Healthcare is a great perk - People working there are really lovely and hard working - Good first job opportunities for graduates or entry level workers

Cons

- Low pay with poor growth opportunities. - Very lacking benefits (outside of healthcare). - No Flexibility (Mon-Thurs). - Massive turnover of staff, in the past 12 months across all UK business units I estimate about 20-25% attrition rate. - Struggling to backfill roles forcing larger workloads on remaining staff. - Incompetent leadership with poor communication skills. - US centric approach to everything, lacking the cultural intelligence to successfully integrate EMEA teams.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear you valued the healthcare offering, enjoyed working alongside your colleagues, and saw the role as a strong starting point for early-career talent. We recognize how important compensation, benefits, flexibility, workload, and clear communication are to the overall employee experience—especially across different regions and business units. We’re committed to listening to our teams and strengthening how we support career development, how we communicate decisions, and how we ensure our approach reflects the needs of our UK and broader EMEA colleagues, not just one market. We also take engagement feedback seriously and remain focused on turning insights into meaningful actions. We appreciate your perspective and wish you continued success in your career. Your Global HR Team

Pros

You learn very quickly how not to treat people and what not to do as a leader. Great place to motivate you to want better for yourself.

Cons

MMGY is private equity owned and from what I’ve seen MMGY checks all the boxes of the standard PE operating playbook, acquire, cut costs, slash pay and benefits, increased workloads, degrading culture, mass layoffs, then sell at profit at the end. PE ownership is generally bad for employees by design. The incentive structure prioritizes investor returns over people and the cycle usually isn’t long enough for them to invest in staff. The CEO’s message on this was made clear in an all company meeting, if you don't like it, leave. This statement is the opposite of leadership, it’s complete indifference to how staff feels or that they might have any concerns. It’s someone who's run out of answers and stopped pretending to care. If you are reading this because your company was just acquired by MMGY, I’d run fast.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We're sorry to hear that your experience has led you to feel this way. It's clear from your comments that you have concerns about the direction of the company, leadership decisions, and the impact those decisions have on employees. While we recognize that not everyone will agree with every decision that is made, we believe it's important to acknowledge that there are often many factors that influence business decisions, and employees may not always have visibility into the full context behind them. You also referenced remarks made during a company-wide meeting. We understand that messages shared during periods of change can be interpreted in different ways, particularly when viewed through the lens of personal experience. Our intention is always to communicate openly and transparently, even when the topics being discussed are difficult or complex. Regarding your comments about private equity ownership and its impact on the business, MMGY Global has operated under private equity ownership for many years, and throughout that time we have continued to invest in our people, serve our clients, grow our capabilities, and expand our global footprint. While there may be differing opinions about ownership structures and business strategy, our focus remains on building a strong, sustainable organization for our employees, clients, and partners. As a current employee, we encourage you to continue sharing your concerns with your manager, HR representative, or COE leader. Open and constructive dialogue remains one of the most important ways we can better understand employee perspectives and continue moving forward together. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
