Pros
Really struggling here, adding a few more words, because I couldn't meet the minimum word count requirement.
Cons
The cons lie primarily within the infrastructure of the management of the entire company including "offices" based in New York, Los Angeles, DC, and Kansas City, where their headquarters lie. (Who has a headquarters in Kansas City? Super cool when they try to slap their culture onto offices in major metropolitan areas with entirely different salaries and practices.) The recent acquisition of NJF, Myriad and Spring O'Brien (and more to come -- aiming for world domination here) has backfired in the worst of ways. No one in upper management or extended partners cares about the well-being of their employees or clients, frankly. They're too busy figuring out how to earn/keep money through budget cuts and empty promises they cannot deliver on with respect to the services they offer. What employees don't see: annual raises (if you were "lucky" enough to get one that was $1,000), bonuses, employee perks, new business commission (Ever heard of that?), or even a "hey - great job on this initiative". What clients Iand prospective clients) don't see: results, someone who has their in best interest in mind. Ironically, the executives send weekly updates praising themselves and patting themselves on the back, explaining mediocrity will not be accepted or tolerated. By the way, did you know, that sometimes people create stick figures of you and your "productivity" / "client capacity"? Meanwhile, employees are locking themselves in the "meditation" room crying to themselves and to the recruiters they desperately seek savior from. You know what's mediocre? Not being able to retain a single employee or client. Also, the fact that the management team has been hosting a plethora of meetings to figure out why morale is so low across all locations, and publicly discussing it, is vile. While saying they'll implement changes that zero people will ever care about, proves that they're so tone deaf and misguided. These implementations include: neglecting anyone who is an AC - AD, still no raises, still no bonuses, weird...in-office happy hours that no one wants to attend, sexual misconduct with employees and clients, and bullying. #resetthemindset If you like being miserable, I definitely recommend applying for one of many positions that are currently open.
