Pros

The idea of Mod Pizza is a great one. Being able to make a pizza for the customer that is exactly what they want is rewarding. Once you figure out how they want it done the job is easy and repetitive and takes very little thought.

Cons

There is no training so you are thrown into the middle of a stressful situation and expected to perform. It is always high stress. You can never work fast enough for them. You are constantly being barked at to work faster. Some managers are completely uncaring. Schedules are not consistent. Not only are they not static, but you can have 30 hours one week and 9 the next. It is completely unpredictable and nothing you can rely on. This is a great job for someone who doesn't need it. A little extra play money when you live with your parents or something to make the days go by faster when you are retired but not a solid job that anyone with bills and responsibilities would be able to live on. There is a definite lack of communication between management. Also issues with paycheck discrepancies. Overall I am disappointed.

Pros

Fun place to work, fast paced environment, often pleasant coworkers, flexible schedule, decent tips, great location.

Cons

Original family that started the chain had to sell (2004). The corporation that bought it seems to be trying to run it into the ground. Took away benefits and perks from employees, swapped out higher quality products for cheap, low quality products, and to cut their own costs down, won't allow enough team members to work a shift, leaving us short handed and overworked. Customers paid the price by having excessive wait times for their food and frequently walked out. It was embarrassing! Our store didn't have a manager for a full year, which only added fuel to the fire. What started out as one of my favorite jobs of all time turned into nothing less than a nightmare.
