Mod Pizza loves to pretend they’re this “cool” and “funky” environment where everyone who works for them is “#gladtobehere” when really their main tactic is taking felons and manipulating them to think they have no other options. The model for promotion is ridiculous. If you’re a man who has no problem screaming and yelling at his staff, you’ll go far with the company. All Mod does is try to boost the ego of their staff so much that when they leave they think they’re hot stuff but really end up taking more menial food service positions because they aren’t qualified for anything else. Everything they preach as a company is a complete joke. They’re also OBSESSED with employees not going into overtime. I have many times watched people (including myself) clock out and continue working because otherwise they would be in trouble. Expect to get called in every single day you have off and if you are unable to, they hound you with questions about what you’re doing until you break and come in.
