Pros

It is a really great place to work! They work with you on your schedule based on your availability and the work itself is pretty fun! You meet a very diverse group of coworkers and guests, but at the end of the day it's the love of pizza that connects us all. Mod believes and invests in their employees as well as the community they are involved in. Upon opening a location they host a fundraiser for a local community project/organization. It is a fast paced job, but once you understand the basics the job becomes interesting and fun to work at. Being a captain is being a manager and it comes with the basic responsibilities of money handling and delegating where people need to be during a rush as well as down time. Really helps with personal and work development.

Cons

As a captain you are responsible for making sure all procedures are done for the shift and if it's not done it falls on the captain. Overall, if you don't do the work and stay organized on when tasks need to get done you will get in trouble.

Pros

Fun place to work, fast paced environment, often pleasant coworkers, flexible schedule, decent tips, great location.

Cons

Original family that started the chain had to sell (2004). The corporation that bought it seems to be trying to run it into the ground. Took away benefits and perks from employees, swapped out higher quality products for cheap, low quality products, and to cut their own costs down, won't allow enough team members to work a shift, leaving us short handed and overworked. Customers paid the price by having excessive wait times for their food and frequently walked out. It was embarrassing! Our store didn't have a manager for a full year, which only added fuel to the fire. What started out as one of my favorite jobs of all time turned into nothing less than a nightmare.
