Pros

Free pizza, great crew, loved my regular customers, good experience for my resume

Cons

The higher ups seriously need a reality check. They have no idea what really goes on in the stores. I got promoted to a captain and with that a pay raise that I didn’t see for 3 months even though I was incredibly persistent. They owe me close to a couple thousand dollars in back pay that I never got from it and the sheer amount I was working. They truly need to train the store manager better and for longer. My last manager was a captain for a while at a different location but only really had 2 weeks of training. I felt so bad for her because my location was notoriously bad and difficult, and it could have helped if she knew how to address things.

Pros

Fun place to work, fast paced environment, often pleasant coworkers, flexible schedule, decent tips, great location.

Cons

Original family that started the chain had to sell (2004). The corporation that bought it seems to be trying to run it into the ground. Took away benefits and perks from employees, swapped out higher quality products for cheap, low quality products, and to cut their own costs down, won't allow enough team members to work a shift, leaving us short handed and overworked. Customers paid the price by having excessive wait times for their food and frequently walked out. It was embarrassing! Our store didn't have a manager for a full year, which only added fuel to the fire. What started out as one of my favorite jobs of all time turned into nothing less than a nightmare.
