Pros
good if you like pizza, good if you're able to move quickly, also if you're good with customer interaction benefits are cool if you work a certain amount 2nd chance hire
Cons
if you're working oven it is vital to remain hydrated, if not, because of the heat it's extremely difficult on your body. from my perspective corporate doesn't show that they care for employees, they just care about sales. for example the amount of cheese we're allowed to use for a single pizza is not enough but because mozzarella is expensive we have the strictly enforced standard. i know this is everywhere- but some of these customers really feel like they have the right to act a certain way if their pizza is not a certain way. It's annoying specifically here because we mostly always offer to remake or offer a free pizza coupon. also we had a "mod games" where if you chose to participate, would perform different normal shift tasks but competing against one another. there were regional competitions and then a finals in headquarters in WA. The 1st prize was a mini cooper or $20000, and then 2nd&3rd were lesser amount cash prizes. On one hand, a cute competition makes the work environment a bit more fun. HOWEVER if y'all had $20000+ lying around I feel a better use for the money would've been to distribute end of year bonuses for everyone. Instead we received a christmas card from the MOD family on their boat. Good, I'm glad they have a boat and I'm making ~just~ above minimum wage.
