      Pros

      The work environment was pretty relaxed, regardless of what position you are doing for the day; despite not having a permanent role to stick to, it's always different every shift you work and management take your personal preference into account. If you happen to feel sick/unwell, as long as you alert management of it, you can take that day off.

      Cons

      There was one day where only the store management and I were there to open and run the restaurant and I personally had to run the line, oven AND register. Thankfully, the crewmembers that were scheduled that day came to pick up their duties. The starting pay rate should be increased, something more than $10 and hour plus tip doesn't feel enough for the amount of work.

      Fun place to work, fast paced environment, often pleasant coworkers, flexible schedule, decent tips, great location.

      Cons

      Original family that started the chain had to sell (2004). The corporation that bought it seems to be trying to run it into the ground. Took away benefits and perks from employees, swapped out higher quality products for cheap, low quality products, and to cut their own costs down, won't allow enough team members to work a shift, leaving us short handed and overworked. Customers paid the price by having excessive wait times for their food and frequently walked out. It was embarrassing! Our store didn't have a manager for a full year, which only added fuel to the fire. What started out as one of my favorite jobs of all time turned into nothing less than a nightmare.
