Pros

I was already impressed with MOD from the customer side of things, but when a friend, working in the Support Center said I should consider working with MOD, I decided to start at the ground floor. I applied for the MOD Squad, got the job, and worked in a few stores for 4.5 months with the goal of working in the Support Center. I really loved the time I put into the store, and what I learned has been tremendously valuable in my transition into the Support Center. MOD says they want their employees to grow and be successful, and even though I am less than 6 months into the company, I can see the truth in their core values, and look forward to working, learning, and growing along side this fun company. Last, but not least, I can already see perceptive and wise leadership from Scott Svenson and his team.

Cons

Systems are still in the development stage. I know we would all love to wave a magic wand and have them be in place, but it will take time.

Pros

Fun place to work, fast paced environment, often pleasant coworkers, flexible schedule, decent tips, great location.

Cons

Original family that started the chain had to sell (2004). The corporation that bought it seems to be trying to run it into the ground. Took away benefits and perks from employees, swapped out higher quality products for cheap, low quality products, and to cut their own costs down, won't allow enough team members to work a shift, leaving us short handed and overworked. Customers paid the price by having excessive wait times for their food and frequently walked out. It was embarrassing! Our store didn't have a manager for a full year, which only added fuel to the fire. What started out as one of my favorite jobs of all time turned into nothing less than a nightmare.
