Pros

Good health insurance with decent rates

Cons

They try to sell you on the value you’re getting is to be a part of something great. They take the stories of employees they “saved” from their circumstances to convince you that you’re a part of something good. But the reality is that their whole idea “we aren’t just another pizza place” is dead wrong. They are just another pizza place. So if you cut out the PR nonsense and the emotionally manipulative stories of their photo walls or Daniel it’s just under paid and over worked. They cut their labor model in an attempts to sell the company. I had over 300 hours of pto I could never touch and it got to a point where my doctor almost served the company a letter demanding immediate full paid leave for a year. There are jobs easier and pay more. The restaurant next door to mine offered almost twice my salary and for a fraction of the work.

Pros

Fun place to work, fast paced environment, often pleasant coworkers, flexible schedule, decent tips, great location.

Cons

Original family that started the chain had to sell (2004). The corporation that bought it seems to be trying to run it into the ground. Took away benefits and perks from employees, swapped out higher quality products for cheap, low quality products, and to cut their own costs down, won't allow enough team members to work a shift, leaving us short handed and overworked. Customers paid the price by having excessive wait times for their food and frequently walked out. It was embarrassing! Our store didn't have a manager for a full year, which only added fuel to the fire. What started out as one of my favorite jobs of all time turned into nothing less than a nightmare.
