Pros
MOD was the first job I ever held. I started when I turned 18 and worked until I left for college. When I came home for the summer, I was re-hired at another location. Most of the team was great. They really have a knack for hiring employees that mesh well together and are extremely personable with great energy. Of course, sometimes someone would be hired who didn't fit the vision of MOD or want to do the work but they didn't usually last super long. MOD is fast paced and actually requires that you pull your weight but there are no unreasonable demands. I love how MOD gives people second and third chances and doesn't throw your application out because of a mistake. I personally don't have a criminal record but I have worked with some who do and they are some of the kindest, most genuine people I have ever met. MOD believes in second chances and giving people the opportunity to make a life for themselves.
Cons
My only issue is they keep the bad managers and fire the good ones. My first manager was great though he could be a real jerk at times. He worked you hard but as soon as you proved yourself, we eased up but still kept his expectations clear. My second manager got away with so much. He was horrible, always made inappropriate jokes, always understaffed, showed up late, left early, etc. Eventually upper management caught on and he was fired shortly after I left. I don't have an cons really for the company itself, only the managers but it's a moot point seeing as they are no longer with the company.
