Pros

Interesting work being done, and good culture Generally fairly stable - writing this during a pretty rough time for tech, which hasn't been felt here. Part of this is due to the industry (defense), but speaks well to the leadership Very young company - if you're under the age of 26, you'll be surrounded by your peers.

Cons

* Overreliant on co-ops which causes quality issues on the backend. * On that note, most employees are former co-ops and new graduates, with under 5 years of experience working full time. This creates a unique culture but also causes some of the quality issues noted above. * Struggles to retain talent - most full-time employees leave a little after 2 years, creating a constant brain drain and a need to train new onboards. * Compensation and benefits are not competitive. * Remote work is frowned upon and discouraged. * Opportunities for career growth are limited - an IC's only option for promotion is to become a team lead, which is not something all ICs will want.
