Pros
The work wasn't too difficult and the hourly pay for the job was better/equal to other factories I have worked at. There were lots of opportunity for advancement. Attendance bonus rewards those who had good attendance. They are willing to hire people from other countries and will work with people who have language barriers. Christmas & company party had lots of good prizes that you can win. Rolling 12 hour shift is hard for some, but great for work/life balance. Overtime wasn't mandatory. It genuinely felt like some members of management cared about us.
Cons
HR seemed like they are out to get you at times. Some shifts (they called them crews) were more enjoyable to work on then others. An expansion is being built which means more work for technical staff, but they won't hire more technical staff so those employees were on edge. Cell phone policies that show they refused to keep up with the times. Management liked to solve everything themselves and not ask for hourly employee opinions. Some technical staff refused to work as hard as their partners or they were rude when you ask them to fix your problem, so we had to rely too heavily on the other person who works with them.
