Pros

Ability to move massive quantities of granite at very low prices. Largest stone importer in North America

Cons

The worst customer service in the industry, especially regarding tile. They had no idea how to service tile accounts accurately and they didn't care to make it better. While their granite slab business is very successful moving truckloads of low-priced, sub-par commodity material that doesn't require much service, their tile business is anemic due to constant mistakes and a "take it or leave it" attitude. Your life as a salesperson is spent dealing with hundreds of accounts, constant emails and phone calls with customers screaming at you about orders coming in wrong, broken, missing, etc. And you? Unable to resolve issues due to a strange system where no warehouse or support staff needs to listen to you to correct any problems. Consequently, the next day all the screaming starts again. Generally laughed at in the industry as selling cheap, lousy material... however, with over 20 branches and hundreds of millions in sales, I guess there's always a market for cheap crap.

Pros

I wish I could give you a pro RUN away if you can

Cons

Where do I start…. Micromanagement to the max: Dissecting your mileage to your sales visits even though the mileage app sucked and did not work half the time. If you drive their car you can’t even drink water as the camera will alert corporate and you get a nasty email. False promises: only be overnight 1-2 nights a week which was not true Zero training on what’s important Let people sell instead of burying them in worthless tasks Had me train for 8 weeks away from home like I was in the military and I stared at a wall in an office. My wife had a medical scare early on and I mentioned that I would like to be with her with the diagnosis and they still made me travel 8 hours from home. Pretty sure they were forcing me out as I talked to other sales reps and they weren’t under the pressure that I was. It’s not really a real sales job there is no selling your basically and order taker and spend your time trying to figure out the mess of ordering.
