Pros
No pressure, small copany with a large company feel. If someone is comfortable staying in a sales role and making a consistent somewhat decent living with out b micro being micro-managed this is the place for them. Its an easy role for someone strategic and that has the right skill set.
Cons
There's cultural changes that are disturbing and no room for advancement or professional development. I've been with the organization for 8 years and have only seen one sales person be promoted even though there's a significant amount of talent. Also most of executive mangement all of which are very nice folks but clearly do not seem to have the experience and expertise to drive the organization forward. Healthcare is evolving rapidly yet this organization is in no way progressive and runs itself 10 years behind the times. Many decisions strategic decision regarding sales stradegy , new product launches ect are not in line with market demands and are counterintutitive. Once again the people are all nice and very pleasent but there;s a whole lot of incompetency. I don't see this changing anytime soon which worries me about long term survivial. I feel I have gain alot of experience in my 8 years with this organization and am thankful but I'd like to take my skill set and expertise to the next level.
