Pros
Most everyone there are good people. I wouldn't mind knowing them outside of work.
Cons
This place is the office that time forgot. Managers and employees alike are clock watchers. I am surprised they don't have their employees punch in and out with timecards. Everything, and I mean everything, has a policy to control, prescribe and/or prevent you from doing this that or the other thing. Micromanagement here is an advanced science. Want to sit outside on a warm day and do some of your work on the lovely picnic tables they provide? No. That's not allowed. The Exec Director walks through the office periodically and heaven help you if you are o your cellphone or generally being seen as not looking like you are working. At my orientation, Day 1, the Exec Director came in to speak to us and made a point - a very dramatic and specific point - that he does not like cellphone use in the office. Inspiring leadership is not his forte.
