Pros

- early stage start up that gives a lot of responsibility. upside is limited by capability only - talented team that likes to move fast - CEO deeply cares about results and is good with investors. should help the company grow and survive into the future - free to be yourself. so long as you respect others, you can look however you'd like, wear whatever you'd like, and say what's on your mind. No bureaucracy - fair pay and good benefits. HC/dental/vision taken care of, 5% 401k match, stock comp.

Cons

- growing pains of any typical early stage start up. CEO is young and still learning how to run a company. not a dealbreaker

Pros

The initial recruiter was responsive during onboarding. Opportunity to see early-stage aerospace manufacturing Exposure to a fast-moving startup environment

Cons

• Hired through third-party recruiter and paid via separate payroll entity, which created some confusion around employment status • Interview process was minimal (phone only, no video or in-person meeting) • Very limited onboarding structure • Role stability unclear; work paused shortly after start date due to seasonal slowdown • Communication after holidays was inconsistent The hiring process was convoluted, relying on third-party firms (Strativ Group for recruiting, People 2.0 for payroll) that limited direct accountability. I was hired via two quick phone calls with no video or in-person interview. Leadership felt dismissive from day one—hesitant handshakes, minimal engagement from the CEO despite my enthusiasm. Technicians seemed treated as disposable. After break, our group of Hispanic technicians found the front door locked and had to enter via the back; badges required escorts, adding to the immaturity. I perceived underlying racial tensions and political favoritism in the culture, though the company does hire from diverse backgrounds. Post-holidays, I was told work slowed for return in the new year, but the recruiter became unreachable (calls blocked)—it felt like a bait-and-switch.
