Pros
Most companies have a pitch of how and why they intend to change the world for the better. Mach has as clear and important a mission as I've ever seen anywhere--to protect and strengthen the U.S. and its allies through innovative and mission-oriented manufacturing of products that fill real needs. Ethan, Mach's founder, shapes the company's priorities with a sharp vision of the battlefield needs of the next decades, and the talented team of engineers and business leads are ruthlessly oriented toward meeting those needs as quickly and effectively as possible. Hopefully we build a cool business along the way. Pretty amazing so far.
Cons
A lot of the bumps and bruises of a rapidly growing, early-stage startup. But each problem seems to be openly discussed and addressed by the team. A heavy expectation of material contribution on every member of the company, which might not be the best fit for some folks looking for a lighter workload.
