Pros

The only pros about Macmillan are that they give employees great benefits and a decent amount of paid time off.

Cons

When Macmillan took over our company it was great, they still let our company have our individuality, while meeting the overall values. However, Macmillan gradually hired a lot of poor upper management to make poor, poor, decisions. They change their minds on sales processes so often that nobody knows what actually works for the company and what doesn't. They are too busy chasing what they think will make them the most short term money to think about what is best for the long run for the company and their employees. They set unobtainable goals that not one person was able to meet this sales cycle. They make promises that they do not keep, and sure are not afraid to make their employees very angry. Also, many of the sales teams were not even given goals this sales cycle, making it impossible to earn the bonuses that all of the employees were told about when they were hired.

Got this job a month before the pandemic and the transition to remote was easy and organized. My contracted role was extended serveral times and the team was very helpful as references for future work.
